Flamingos and zoos: husbandry guidelines and related resources

The pink feathers, large size and highly social
nature of flamingos make them a popular zoo
animal. All six species are found in captivity, but
the majority of captive flamingos are Greater Flamingos, Caribbean Flamingos, Chilean Flamingos and Lesser Flamingos.

The goal of this section is to bring together all
resources that might be useful to zoos and other captive collections holding flamingos.

Do you or does your organisation have a resource related to keeping flamingos? Please let us know.

All resources are welcome including guidelines, photos and videos.
